UV radiation leads to sunburn and skin damage if used for too long. This clothing only protects the covered area, other parts of the body exposed to natural UV radiation must be protected separately, e.g. by applying sunscreen and wearing other UV protective clothing. The actual duration of protection of UV protective clothing depends on the skin condition of the child and the intensity of the sun's rays. The reported UV protection can be reduced by normal wear and tear as well as on the seams. Check the clothing regularly for damage and wear and tear and replace it if necessary. A repair must be carried out professionally. The durability of the protective clothing - even without visible damage - is 6 years from the date of production. Wash out after each contact with chlorine and salt water. It is UV protective clothing (category I PPE) that meets the essential health and safety requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425, Annex II.
