This cool Play Rattle Chewie is wonderful for your little one’s gums during teething and looks stylish with monochrome outfits but also pairs well with pastels. This Chewie is easy to hold by the wooden ring, the beads, or the figure. There are many different textures to feel, making it even more interesting for your baby! The ring and figure around the silicone beads make a soothing rattling sound.

The wood we use is beechwood. Compared to other types of wood, beechwood has excellent antibacterial properties. We use 100% silicone beads. The silicone is 100% food-grade, resistant to damage, and free from harmful additives such as BPA, sulfates, and other additives. Silicone feels soft and smooth. It is one of the few materials that are fully recyclable, meaning less waste and a longer lifespan.
For babies, the world is mostly a black-and-white film, as they cannot yet see real colors. However, they can see differences in shades, resulting in a grayscale image. Between 4 and 6 weeks, babies begin to distinguish basic colors. Babies love contrasts. The stronger the contrast, the more interesting it is. This is why we work with color contrasts.
Cleaning the silicone can be done with water and mild soap. The beechwood can be wiped with a damp cloth and left to air dry. A baby wipe also works well for this! A Chewie cannot be boiled, placed in a sterilizer, or put in the dishwasher.
With the FSC label, you can be sure that our wood comes from a responsibly managed forest. All our Chewies are tested and certified according to European toy standards (EN71) and are handmade by us in the Netherlands. We also comply with Directive 2009/48/EC, so our products are safe. The CE marking means that our products meet legal requirements.
