This beautiful new Chewie can be easily held by the handle, and the flower part is perfect for biting and sucking. This flower is a Chewies & More original design — truly, Mon Fleur!
From around 4 to 6 months (on average), babies start teething. They seek relief for their sore gums, and this Chewie is perfect for that! By biting on the soft silicone, it massages the gums and provides comfort. The different textures and shapes offer a great challenge to support the development of fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
The wood we use is beechwood. Compared to other types of wood, beechwood has excellent antibacterial properties. We use 100% food-grade silicone beads — durable, safe, and free from harmful substances such as BPA, sulfates, and other additives. Silicone feels soft and smooth, and is one of the few materials that is fully recyclable — meaning less waste and a long lifespan.
For babies, the world still looks mostly like a black-and-white movie. They don’t see true colors yet but can detect differences in shades, resulting in grayscale vision. Between 4 and 6 weeks of age, they begin to distinguish basic colors. Babies love contrasts — the stronger the contrast, the more interesting. That’s why we work with color contrasts.
Cleaning
Silicone can be cleaned with water and mild soap. Beechwood can be wiped with a damp cloth and left to air dry. Baby wipes also work well!
A Chewie should never be boiled, sterilized, or placed in the dishwasher.

With the FSC certification, you can be sure that our wood comes from responsibly managed forests. All of our Chewies are tested and certified according to European toy safety standard EN71, and each one is handmade by us in the Netherlands. We also comply with Directive 2009/48/EC, so our products are safe. The CE mark confirms they meet legal safety requirements.
Usage Instructions
As with all Chewies, we recommend checking the product for damage before each use and never leaving your baby unattended while playing or teething with it.
