Chewies and More Clip Silicone Bear – Navaho

How cute is this new little bear incorporated into our pacifier clips? The bear was created in collaboration with HugsAndThings and is known in psychology as a source of support for a child exploring the world. A perfect symbol for a little one discovering the big world together. Of course, these clips are made in our own workshop in Zwolle. They have been retested according to current standards and have passed with flying colors!

The wood we use is beechwood. Compared to other types of wood, beechwood has excellent antibacterial properties. We use 100% silicone beads. The silicone is 100% food-grade, resistant to damage, and free from harmful additives such as BPA, sulfates, and other chemicals. Silicone feels soft and smooth and is one of the few materials that is fully recyclable. This means less waste and a long lifespan.

For babies, the world still looks like a black-and-white movie. They cannot yet see real colors but can distinguish different shades, so their vision consists of grayscale tones. Between 4 to 6 weeks, babies begin to recognize basic colors. Babies love contrasts—the stronger the contrast, the more interesting it is. That’s why we use color contrast in our designs.

Care Instructions

What is allowed:

     •           Silicone can be cleaned with water and mild soap.

     •           Beechwood can be wiped with a damp cloth and air-dried. A baby wipe also works well.

What is NOT allowed:

     •           Chewies & More pacifier clips should never be boiled.

     •           They should never be placed in a sterilizer.

     •           They should never be placed in the dishwasher.

With the FSC certification, you can be sure that our wood comes from responsibly managed forests. Additionally, all our Chewies are tested and certified according to the European Toy Standard EN71. Each piece is handcrafted in the Netherlands. We also comply with the Directive 2009/48/EC, meaning our products are safe. The CE marking ensures that our products meet legal safety requirements.

Usage Instructions

We recommend checking all Chewies for damage before each use. Never leave your child unattended while they play with or chew on this product.
